Recent flood events in South East Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria have highlighted the dangers of reckless and inadvertent behaviour around flood waters.

In response, the Sunshine Coast Regional Council in partnership with the Department of Transport and Regional Services and the Department of Emergency Services (Queensland), have developed FloodReady – a community awareness campaign that focuses on key aspects of public safety during a flood event.

As FloodReady has a national relevancy, we invite your Australian organisation to use FloodReady as a portal to your own local flooding information. Please direct all enquiries to:
